Usage
Give CredelioTM orally in accordance with your veterinarian’s instructions. All year long, cats should receive this medicine at monthly (every 30 days) intervals to ensure that they are protected from fleas and ticks. Use the right mix of these tablets for cats weighing more than 17 pounds to guarantee total protection from ticks and fleas.
Take out one tablet at a time from the blister card with foil backing, then put the card back in the box to keep it out of the light. Till you are prepared to give the tablet to your pet, do not take it out of the foil wrapper. Give the animal a tiny bit of food or a treat by hand. For full absorption, CredelioTM needs to be administered with food or within 30 minutes of meals.
Missed Doses
Unless the next dose is due, administer the medication as soon as you remember. Avoid taking two doses. See your veterinarian as soon as possible if your pet has missed a medication.
Side Effects
Cats typically tolerate CredelioTM well. When the medication is used as prescribed, there are extremely few adverse effects. When using CredelioTM, the following adverse effects have been documented: vomiting, diarrhea, increased thirst, high BUN, and anorexia. If this happens, let your veterinarian know. There can be other adverse effects. Speak with your veterinarian if you see anything out of the ordinary.
Drug & Food Interactions
Before using this medication, let your veterinarian know about any additional medications you are providing your pet. If your pet exhibits any strange symptoms when given multiple medications at once, get in touch with your veterinarian. Make sure your veterinarian knows about any other medications you are providing your pet. It is common for your veterinarian to prescribe two separate drugs, and you may need to prepare for a potential drug interaction. In this situation, your veterinarian might adjust the dosage and/or keep a closer eye on your pet.
Cautions
The safety of using CredelioTM in cats that are breeding, pregnant, or nursing has not been studied. In cats with a history of seizures, use with caution.
Medication-related allergic responses can happen. Any known allergies or drug sensitivities for your pet should be disclosed to both VetSource and your veterinarian. Contact your veterinarian right once if your pet exhibits signs of an allergic reaction, or take them to a veterinary emergency clinic. A few possible symptoms are swollen lips, tongue, face, and airways; breathing difficulties; excitement; excessive salivation; vomiting; hives all over the body; and itching.

Storage
Long-term storage is advised between 59° and 77° F; deviations between 41° and 104° F are allowed. Keep children away from this medication. Keep in a container that is childproof. Keep this medication at room temperature in a cool, dry location. Keep out of direct sunshine and heat. This medication should not be kept in wet areas, next to the kitchen sink, or in the restroom. If the medication is exposed to heat or moisture, it may degrade.
