Animal Control

Fox will air the American comedy Animal Control for the first time on February 16, 2023. Roughhouse Productions, Middletown News, Wow a Fox, and Fox Entertainment Studios are the producers of Animal Control. The show got picked up for a second season in May 2023.

Premise

Animal control officers in Seattle start to notice that people are more of a hassle in their life than animals are.

Main

Animal Control Joel McHale plays Senior Animal Control Officer Frank Shaw, a dejected and emotionally detached character. His negative attitude is a result of his former career as a cop, which he left after discovering evidence of corruption within his force. He constantly makes fun of his new partner Shred and treats the other members of his precinct like complete jerks.
Emily Price, the amiable director at the A.C. precinct, is played by Vella Lovell. She frequently attempts to advance in her profession and get a better-paying position, but Commissioner Dudge consistently blocks her, and the others do not want her to go since they know how simple it is to take advantage of her.
Frank’s new partner, Fred “Shred” Taylor, played by Michael Rowland. A former competitive snowboarder who now works as an idealistic amateur animal control officer. He barely manages to avoid the criticism that his precinct frequently pours out because of his unrestrained optimism.
Amit Patel, one of the Animal Control officers in Frank’s precinct, is played by Ravi V. Patel. His two kids are typically the targets of jokes about his family life.
Grace Palmer plays Victoria Sands, Amit’s partner and a streetwise Animal Control officer from New Zealand. She frequently assists Amit in overcoming his shyness so he may perform his work. She takes her job seriously in comparison to Frank.
As Seattle Animal Control Officers Commissioner Templeton Dudge, played by Gerry Dee, he is a cruel man. He would happily make an effort to annoy and ridicule Frank’s precinct because of their history of dealing with animals. The precinct would happily return the insults most of the time.
Dolores Stubb, the smug receptionist at Frank’s precinct, is played by Kelli Ogmundson. She frequently meddles in the business of the officers out of vanity. She is despised by the cops as a result.
Dr. Colette Summers, the appealing vet in Frank’s neighbourhood, is played by Alvina August. She is frequently singled out by the cops as a desire object, which is a running joke in the programme.
