Animal control
The lives of a group of local animal control workers are made difficult by the fact that although humans are simple, animals are not. Frank, the opinionated and eccentric animal control officer in charge, is the most well-read individual in the group despite not having a college degree. In his former life as a police officer, Frank tried to expose departmental corruption, but his actions led to his dismissal, which made him cynical and resentful. Animal control service

Politics
Animal control officials are often appointed by an executive authority rather than elected in actuality. However, in Colonial and Early American New England, analogous positions such as the hog reeve, who was responsible for only wayward swine, and the poundmaster, who was in charge of managing stray livestock, were elective positions. According to reports, Duxbury, Vermont, is the only town in the modern United States where a dog catcher is genuinely elected, but in 2018 it was discovered that this practice is forbidden in Vermont.[Reference needed] Zeb Towne, the final elected dogcatcher, was appointed to fulfill the job and it was made an appointment-only position.was unanimously selected for the role in Duxbury.
